Who is that in the mirror?

Description:

Sit next to your baby in front of a mirror. You can also do this during tummy time. Draw your baby’s attention to her reflection in the mirror. Make eye contact in the mirror. Then, call your baby’s name to draw her attention to you where you are sitting next to her. Repeat this a few times and watch the amazement on baby’s face while she is trying to work out who that person in the mirror is!

Promote learning by:

Talk to your baby throughout the experience. Point out body and face parts as you make eye contact. Encourage Baby to move hands and feet and watch the baby in the mirror do the same. Play Peek-a-Boo with your baby in the mirror.
