Paying it Forward

Description:

Recommended by our Nido Early School Templestowe Curriculum Leader, Marjone Zeeman;

Watch and listen to the story ‘Be Kind’, by Pat Zietlow Miller. After listening, talk about ways in which kindness has been shown to you or your child. Think of ways to ‘pay it forward’ by being kind to and helping each other at home. Encourage your child to draw a picture of the acts of kindness that have been shown to them, or that they feel that they can pay forward.

Promote learning by:

Pausing the video and answering the questions that come up in the story. Encourage your child to think about what kindness means.
