Feeding Body & Soul

Our kitchen is the heart of our Early School

A child can’t concentrate if they are hungry and if they can’t concentrate, they can’t learn. We also believe that your child needs food to connect, socialise, feel joy and be inspired.

Our cucinas (kitchens) are the heart of our Early Schools. Learning where food comes from, how to measure ingredients and make healthy choices is an integral part of what we offer to our children. All the food we provide, is served to children and adults alike.

Our menus, all being of the highest quality whole foods and not containing any processed sugars, are developed by Nourished Beginnings. We also welcome feedback from families in terms of favourite foods, plus our children also regularly give us feedback as to what they like from the kitchen. We cater to all allergies, as well as cultural and dietary preferences. All Early Schools are nut aware.

Wellbeing

Feeding the soul

Your child’s early experiences shape their brain development and also lay the foundations for their mental health. We strive to promote psychological wellbeing for your child to help them thrive and provide a wide range of activities that ensure that your child is healthy and happy.

One of our favourite examples of encouraging children to express their feelings are the ‘Feeling Fairies’ that come out to help.
We also offer other experiences to promote wellbeing, such as:

  • Meditation
  • Mindfulness
  • Yoga
  • Teaching of self-regulation strategies
  • Creative Arts
