Get to know our Centre Manager at Nido Yallambie

Hi, I’m Connie McLeod, and I am proud to lead such a warm and caring team here at Nido Yallambie. We work closely with families to build real relationships and provide children with a joyful place to learn and grow.

We’re here to support your child through each stage of early learning, and we’d love for you to visit and see how our Yallambie childcare centre feels like a natural extension of home.

How we approach learning at Nido Yallambie

Our philosophy at Nido Yallambie is grounded in the Reggio Emilia approach, which honours children as capable, curious and full of potential. Our curricula are shaped by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and guided by the National Quality Standards (NQS). Both have a strong focus on well-being, inclusion and development across all areas.

Teachers and Curriculum Leaders work together to create enjoyable learning experiences for children to thrive and become life-ready. Through this personalised approach, children build confidence, gain a sense of community and develop a lasting love of learning.
