Music

Music is a valued part of our weekly program, providing opportunities for creativity, self-expression and connection. Through song, rhythm and movement, children build confidence, communication, and listening skills.

We run an Artists in Residence program that inspires creativity and self-expression through hands-on experiences with a variety of materials and techniques. Children are encouraged to explore their ideas, think creatively, and share their unique perspectives.

Sports

Our sports program encourages children to develop confidence, coordination and gross motor skills through fun and engaging experiences. Through games and team activities, children learn to challenge themselves, collaborate with others and enjoy being active.

Every Day Matters

Because every day shapes the person your child will become. That’s why at Nido, we invest in every child, every day.

Every day, safety is at the heart of everything we do, with vigilant supervision, ongoing training and thoughtfully designed spaces.

Every day, our curriculum and quality resources turn experiences into lasting learning – from cooking and gardening to science and well-being, every day brings something new.

Every day is the most important day in a child’s life. And every day, we make it count.

Child-led Learning

  • Engaging learning programs are child-led, inspired by the Reggio-Emilia philosophy and facilitated by a dedicated Curriculum Leader.
  • Our teams are made up of passionate, sector leading degree qualified teachers, with all Educators diploma-qualified or holding a Cert III.
  • Our unique curriculum is co-designed with families, experts and educators and builds upon the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to balance literacy, numeracy, creativity, health and confidence.

Inspiring Environments

At Nido, every day brings inspiring learning environments for your child to explore- from art in our ateliers and shared meals in our piazzas, to adventures in outdoor spaces with climbing areas, our Nido cars, water play, mature gardens and more. Indoors, children discover places for creativity, imaginative storytelling and quiet corners. Each environment is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, nurture imagination and build a connection to nature, helping children develop new skills and healthy habits for life.

Safety Every Day

At Nido, safety is part of every day. We follow national child-safe standards with strong leadership, rigorous recruitment, and ongoing training for everyone in our early schools. Our spaces are designed for clear supervision, and our policies are regularly reviewed to maintain the highest standards. Nothing matters more than creating safe and secure environments where children feel confident, and families place their full trust in our care.

Our Community

Community is at the heart of Nido. Every day, we nurture strong connections between families, educators, children and the wider community. Through inclusive events, regular updates and hands-on experiences – from community gardens to visits from special guests, every child feels confident, included and inspired to learn.
