Growing Vegetables From Cuttings (from Our Team at Nido QV1)

Description:

Have you have ever thought about the scraps of vegetables that you throw away while prepping food?

Take your celery or spring onion scraps (keep the base) and place in a shallow dish of water in a sunny spot.  In a couple of days you will see new leaves growing from the middle of the base. Transfer to a pot with soil once leaves get strong.

Promote learning by:

Talking to children about taking care of the planet and mindfully reducing waste in our homes.
