Sing it Bag!

Sing it Bag!

Description:

Engage in this musical experience shared by Claire Galbraith, Curriculum Leader at Nido Early School Baldivis;

Choosing some of your child’s favourite songs, encourage you to child find objects around the home that represent that song to them.  Collect all of these objects in a “Sing it Bag.”  Look at your finds at the end. Do we remember what objects we found during which song? Why did we choose that object? We can see the songs evolve and come to life.

Promote learning by:

Making connections verbally and non-verbally, making meaning and promoting our problem solving and imagination through song. Promotes children’s decision making and creating new meanings to well known songs.
