Rosemary is associated with ANZAC day as it grows wild on the Gallipoli peninsula.  Sprigs are work as a symbol of remembrance on ANZAC day. Children can help plant a Rosemary bush or propagate a clipping from an existing bush to plant in a special place to commemorate ANZAC day.

Promote learning by:

Encouraging children to take responsibility for planting and watering their Rosemary.  Drill holes in the top of a plastic bottle to create a free up cycled watering can!
