In Short:

The Nido Essendon team attended the Welcoming the Babies to Maribyrnong event, connecting with local families and receiving recognition from the Federal Member, Jo Briskey, for their commitment to high‑quality care and early education in Essendon.

On March 27th, our team from Nido Essendon attended the “Welcoming the Babies to Maribyrnong” event at Lincoln Park, hosted by Federal Member for Maribyrnong, Jo Briskey. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with local families and celebrate the newest members of the community. The Nido team was honoured to receive recognition from the Federal Member, for their commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and care for families in Essendon.

Families took part in a presentation receiving certificates and bounty bags, alongside enjoying an array of family-fun activities.

At Nido, we understand that returning to work can be a challenging time for new parents, so we were thrilled to be able to talk to local families and offer guidance and reassurance on how we can support this transition.

Nido Essendon also consistently supports local families through their community library, which offers a diverse range of books for both children and adults.  They support infants, early readers, through to school-aged children, with engaging books that spark imagination.

Also offering a thoughtful selection for adults, the library selection has been chosen to appeal to the interests and needs of families in the  community.

The Nido street library follows a simple take a book, leave a book approach, making it easy to access. The Nido Essendon team has seen a strong focus on literacy and are proud that their local community library can offer a meaningful way for families to discover new stories and connect.
