Salt Art

Description:

Claire Galbraith, Curriculum Leader at shared this great art experience loved by the children at Nido Early School Baldivis;

With a container or tray, place a little salt in the bottom and spread it across. What are your child’s recent interests, favourite pictures or books?  We can recreate these using our fingers to draw in the salt creating our own masterpiece using our visual to support our creativity. When you are finished you can shake the salt and start again making it sustainable through reuse. You can also add colour through any food colouring to change the colour of the salt.
