As a Lead Educator in our nest, you will lead and develop the curriculum whilst actively encouraging children’s learning and development to support their strong sense of identity. You will receive dedicated support from the Early Childhood Teacher and Leadership team. This collaborative approach ensures that we all work together to deliver excellent educational practices to our children while creating an environment where you will rise and flourish.

ABOUT THE SERVICE:
- Based in the suburb of Moonee Ponds
- Regular excursions to local park, primary school and fruit shop
- Stunning heritage listed double story 91 place service catering for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 5 rooms and 3 stunning outdoor play areas
- Very close to local coffee shops for lunch time breaks
- The service sits close by public transport for easy commute to and from work
- Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation
- Opening hours of the service are - 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday

- Hold Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent (essential for this role)
- Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs
- In-depth experience working in a childcare service
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Be confident in collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and interests
- Have strong communication and time-management skills
- A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
- Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
