Our beautiful 82 place Secret Harbour service is looking for a passionate lead educator to join our team. This is a maternity leave cover for 6 months working in Classroom 1 (6 weeks to 12/15 months old). This role supports our youngest learners during a foundational stage of their development. At Nido we are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and are passionate about delivering contemporary educational practices for our children, educators, and families.

As a Lead Educator in our nest, you will lead and develop the curriculum whilst actively encouraging children’s learning and development to support their strong sense of identity. You will receive dedicated support from the Early Childhood Teacher and Leadership team. This collaborative approach ensures that we all work together to deliver excellent educational practices to our children while creating an environment where you will rise and flourish. 

ABOUT THE SERVICE:

• 82 place single story service with a long-standing Manager
• Close to local coffee shop and supermarket 
• Caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 5 rooms and 2 stunning outdoor play areas as well as a piazza unique atelier.
• Strong management team to couch and guide you through your career
• Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation.
• Opening hours - 6:30am-630pm - Monday-Friday

ABOUT YOU:

• Hold a Diploma (or working towards) in Early Childhood or equivalent (essential) 
• In-depth experience in leading a team within a childcare service
• Strong communication and time-management skills 
• A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
• Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
• Contribute to exceeding outcomes for children and Educators
