Our beautiful Athelstone service is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead educator to join our team. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and are passionate about delivering contemporary educational practices for our children, educators, and families.
  
  
The Role: 
  • Full-time position
  • Must have a Diploma in ECEC or working towards Diploma and 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Leading our Nursery room
  • As soon as possible start
  
About the Service: 
  • Based in the suburb of Athelstone
  • Caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 5 rooms and 3 stunning outdoor play areas
  • Very close to local coffee shops for lunch time breaks
  • Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation
  • Opening hours of the service are - 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday
  • Strong management team to coach and guide you through your career

About You: 
  • Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood or working towards Diploma
  • Must be available to work 5 days a week
  • Experience in working as an Educator in a childcare service for 2 years
  • A Valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Contribute to exceeding outcomes for children and Educators
  • Have strong communication skills written and verbal
  • Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs
  • Be confident in collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and interests
