ABOUT THE SERVICE:

• 82 place service catering for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 5 rooms and 3 stunning outdoor play areas
• Close to local bus stops for easy commute
• Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation.
• Opening hours - 6:30am-6:30pm - Monday-Friday

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Driven to provide outstanding nutrition and education to young children
• Comply with all relevant legislation, early childhood regulations, policies, procedures, and work guidelines 
• Have experience in cooking for a large amount of children at any one time
• Conduct weekly stock take and ordering 
• Maintain and ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene such as cleaning and washing
• Strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is required for this role
• A Valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain  
• Previous experience working as a Cook in a childcare setting is required
