As an Educator in our nest, you will receive dedicated support from the Lead Educator, Early Childhood Teacher and Leadership team. This collaborative approach ensures that we all work together to deliver excellent educational practices to our children and creates an environment where you will flourish.
  
The Role:  
  • Permanent full-time position available but can consider part-time for the right candidate (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
  • Open to Diploma Educators with experience 
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the daily care routines and programmes for individual children and/or groups
  • Build meaningful, trusting, and respectful relationships with children and their caregivers
About Taperoo: 
  • Based in the suburb of Taperoo
  • AUSLAN program, Active Play program, Sustainability and gardening program and an inclusion program for all educators  
  • Caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 5 rooms and 3 stunning outdoor play areas
  • Stunning double story 82 place service within walking distance to train station
  • Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation

About You: 
  • Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent (Essential)
  • Must be available to work 3 to 5 days a week
  • Experience in working as an Educator in a childcare service 
  • A Valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs
  • Be confident in collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and interests
