Our beautiful Blakeview service is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead educator to join our team. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and are passionate about delivering contemporary educational practices for our children, educators, and families.
  

The Role: 

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday
• Must have a Diploma in ECEC and 1 year experience in a similar role
• 3 assistants within the room and regular support on floors from our Curriculum Leader
• Leading our 2-3 year old room (approx 20 children per day)
• As soon as possible start

• Based in the suburb of Blakeview
• Caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 7 rooms 
• Very close to local coffee shops for lunch time breaks
• Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation
• Stunning single story 107 place service within walking distance to cafe’s local shops
• Opening hours of the service are - 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday

About You: 

• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood (Essential)
• Must be available to work 5 days a week
• Experience in working as a Room Leader in a childcare service for 1 year or extensive experience as an educator
• A Valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
• Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
• Contribute to exceeding outcomes for children and Educators
• Have strong communication skills written and verbal
• Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs
• Be confident in collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and interests
