Our brand-new Nido Early School Mandurah (opening mid-2025) is seeking a cook to join our early learning community.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a role that promotes well-being through nutritious meals for children. The Cook's role is considered crucial within our organization, and we strive to ensure that cooks feel valued and appreciated as integral members of the team. In addition to preparing meals, cooks also play a crucial role in welcoming families and children as they arrive and depart from the facility as an essential part of the team.

- Working alongside families and educators to build relationships and meet children’s nutritional needs,
- Working in the heart/hub of the service where our kitchen meets the children’s dining space,
- Using a four-week rotational menu to create beautiful meals that have been designed by a nutritionist caring about children’s nutrition and dietary requirements
- A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (required)
- Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
- Cert II / III in Commercial Cooking, highly regarded, however not required
- Cooking experience in an early childhood setting, highly regarded
