Nido Early School Lakelands is seeking a Lead Educator to join our educational community which is full of wonder and innovation. We are passionate about delivering contemporary educational practices for our children, educators, and families.

As a Lead Educator in our nest, you will lead and develop the curriculum whilst actively encouraging children’s learning and development to support their strong sense of identity. You will receive dedicated support from the Early Childhood Teacher and Leadership team. This collaborative approach ensures that we all work together to deliver excellent educational practices to our children while creating an environment where you will rise and flourish. 

ABOUT THE SERVICE:

• 72 place service 
• Caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 5 rooms and 2 stunning outdoor play areas
• Based at the local shopping centre 
• 3 minute drive to Lakelands train station 
• Well established service with long standing team, opening in mid 2017 
• Opening hours of the service are - 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday
• Strong management team to coach and guide you through your career
• Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation.

ABOUT YOU:

• Available minimum of 4 days a week 
• Are an advocate for all children

• Striving to be knowledgeable in your role

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Working towards or hold a Diploma in Early Childhood
• A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
• Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
• Experience in leading a room
