Say hello to the team at Nido Riverton

I’m Magdalene Heldt, Centre Manager here at Nido Riverton. Together with our educators, we’re committed to building a nurturing environment that encourages children to grow, explore and develop confidence. We’d love to show you around and talk about how we can support your family in our Riverton preschool.

Our early learning philosophy in Nido Riverton

Children are natural learners: they question, explore and experiment from the very beginning. At our Riverton childcare centre, our approach to early education nurtures this innate curiosity by offering play-based programs shaped by the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

We focus on creating a learning environment where children feel safe to express themselves and try new things. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards, our team designs experiences that are both structured and flexible. Children are invited to take part in projects, atelier art sessions, group discussions and hands-on activities that encourage discovery and personal growth.
