Making a Poppy Wreath

Description:

using materials around your home such as cardboard, egg cartons, cupcake patty pans, paint and glue, children can paint and create a poppy wreath to hang in your home to commemorate ANZAC Day.

Promote learning by:

Encouraging your child (under supervision) to cut the shapes, supporting the development of fine motor skills which are important for handwriting in later years. Younger children can help to paint and decorate the poppies.
