A New Chapter Begins for Families in Australind

05 May 2026

Nido Early School is proud to announce the opening of Nido Australind, a purpose-built early education service designed to support children and families in one of Western Australia’s fastest-growing communities.

With capacity for up to 102 children, the new centre will play an important role in addressing increasing demand for quality early learning and care in the South West. The opening marks another milestone in Nido Early School’s continued growth, strengthening its presence across Australia and enabling more families to access premium early education close to home.

At the heart of the centre sits a central piazza, a gathering place designed to bring children together through shared experiences. Whether it’s cooking, celebrating special moments or simply connecting with friends, the piazza has been thoughtfully created to foster a strong sense of community and belonging.

Beyond the classrooms, curiosity takes centre stage. Nido Australind features three dedicated ateliers — two sensory spaces and a wet art studio — where children are encouraged to experiment, create and discover. These inspiring environments invite children to engage with different materials, follow their interests and experience the joy of hands-on learning, helping them build a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Outside, adventure continues. The expansive outdoor environment features a unique Bush Atelier, complete with a yarning circle, native planting and an edible garden. Here, children can connect with nature, learn about sustainability and engage with culture in meaningful and authentic ways. From tending to growing plants to sharing stories beneath the open sky, every element has been designed to nurture a sense of wonder and respect for the environment.

Guiding the new early school is Executive Service Manager Kiara Coyler, whose passion for early childhood education has shaped her journey from an early age. Inspired by her mother, who worked as a childcare director, Kiara discovered her love for the sector while still in high school and has since built an impressive career spanning roles including Lead Educator, OSHC Coordinator, Assistant Director and Educational Leader. For Kiara, early learning is about far more than education – it’s about relationships. She is passionate about creating a community where every child feels seen, valued and supported, and where families feel welcomed as partners in their child’s learning journey. Her wealth of experience and genuine commitment to nurturing young learners make her the perfect person to lead Nido Australind into its exciting next chapter.

Alongside Kiara is Assistant Service Manager Rohima Hardy, who brings seven years of experience in the early childhood sector. Beginning her career as an Assistant Educator before progressing into leadership, Rohima is known for creating safe, engaging environments where children can flourish. She takes great pride in being a trusted source of support for both children and families as they navigate the early years together.

Completing the leadership team is Curriculum Leader Sarah Foster, who brings more than 16 years of experience and a deep passion for inspiring both educators and children. As the centre settles into its first weeks, Sarah is helping shape a culture of curiosity, creativity and high-quality learning. A self-confessed book lover and lifelong learner, Sarah delights in creating experiences that spark children’s imagination and encourage them to ask questions, explore new ideas and embrace the excitement of discovery. She firmly believes that when educators feel empowered and inspired, children are given the best opportunity to thrive.

With strong interest from families across Australind and the surrounding region, the team is looking forward to growing alongside the community for many years to come.

For families searching for a place where children can learn, connect and flourish, Nido Early School Australind is ready to welcome them through its doors and into a new world of possibility. Families are warmly invited to book a tour and experience the centre firsthand.
