In Short:

Nido Early School Sienna Wood is now open, offering local families a beautifully designed early learning environment where children can learn, play and grow close to home. Located within the new Sienna Wood Town Centre, the early school brings Nido’s Reggio Emilia–inspired approach to a growing community, supporting children from six weeks to school age in a warm, nurturing setting.

Nido Early School Sienna Wood has officially opened its doors, welcoming families into one of the first education and care offerings within the Sienna Wood Town Centre.

Positioned in the heart of the emerging precinct, the early school sits alongside a growing mix of retail, health and lifestyle services designed to support everyday living for local families. As the community continues to evolve, Nido is proud to be part of creating a vibrant place where children and families can learn, connect and grow close to home. This newest opening reflects the continued growth and evolution of Nido Early School as the organisation expands its network of purpose-built centres to support more families across Australia.

Purpose-built for children aged six weeks through to school age, the centre has been thoughtfully designed around how young children learn best. Each learning environment has been carefully curated to support different stages of development, encouraging children to explore, create and build confidence at their own pace.

Inside the early school, families will discover a range of intentional spaces designed to extend beyond traditional classrooms. Dedicated Atelier (art studio) environments inspire creativity and expression, while a sensory atelier offers a calm and welcoming space for wellbeing and small group experiences. A shared piazza-style creates a strong sense of community and connection for children.

The service is led by Executive Service Manager Brittany Anderson, who brings more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education and a deep commitment to creating an environment where every child feels supported, understood and inspired. Supporting her is Assistant Service Manager Chloe, an experienced educator and mother of two, who is passionate about building strong partnerships with families and nurturing children’s growth with confidence and care.

Curriculum Leader Monita Shankar brings over 12 years of experience and plays a key role in guiding the team to deliver thoughtful, child-led learning experiences. Working closely with educators, Monita is passionate about listening to children and using their ideas and interests to shape meaningful learning opportunities.

Together, the leadership team is focused on building a connected and inclusive community where children, families and educators experience a genuine sense of belonging.

As Sienna Wood continues to grow, Nido Early School reflects the broader vision of the community which is to support families at every stage while creating spaces where people feel connected. In these early months, the team is focused on building strong relationships, embedding daily safety practices and creating rituals that foster belonging across the centre.

With strong interest already from local families, the team is excited to grow alongside the Sienna Wood community in the months and years ahead.

Families are warmly invited to book a tour and experience the early school in person.
