Nido Early School Victorian Executive Service Manager Marks Nearly a Decade of Transformative Growth
In a remarkable journey spanning nearly a decade, Karen Ptaszenski has become an integral part of Nido Early School’s expansion in the Victorian market. Ms. Ptaszenski embarked on her Nido adventure in 2015, joining the pioneering team at the Oakley East/Clayton centre as a Curriculum Leader.
Two years later, Karen took the opportunity to manage another new Nido centre at Albert Park in Victoria. Her skills, talent and passion for the new development within the education space led her to support another brand-new build; Nido Early School Montrose. Her role included overseeing operations, team building, and fostering community connections.
Five years later, Karen was approached again to open another new service, Nido Early School Ferntree Gully, where she currently operates as the Executive Service Manager. Karen reflects on her journey, expressing a particular fondness for being part of the opening team, nurturing its growth, and witnessing the evolution of the Nido brand.
“I do like being part of opening new services; to start them up, form the team and be a part of that team to nurture them and see them grow.”
“I remember having a conversation with the MD of the company, Mathew Edwards, the first time I’d ever met him. The way he spoke about how, to him, the educators are the most important thing and the support thrown behind them is irreplaceable. The proof is in the pudding. The way Nido treats the educators, the support network we have, and resources we have available is amazing. The respect for the educators and the team members shines through,” says Karen.
Karen’s commitment to innovation and community engagement aligns with Nido’s mission to provide high-quality childcare services. As Nido continues to grow and evolve, individuals like Karen Ptaszenski play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s success and leaving a lasting impact on the early childhood education landscape in Australia.
