About the role:

We are seeking an Area Manager for New South Wales to champion exceeding quality practice and continuous improvement across 6 Services. You will coach and mentor the leadership teams to deliver compliance, quality practices, continuous improvements, child safety practices and collaborative employee relations.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Reporting directly to Operations Team on agreed operational, quality and compliance KPIs.
  • Successfully lead a team of 6 direct reports.
  • Support Centre Managers and Educators before, during and after A&R.
  • Embed core operating processes.
  • Ensure full compliance reporting on incidents and action prevention strategies.

About you:
  • Hold a bachelor or Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent (essential)
  • Proven leadership experience in a multi-site management position within other Early Education organisations
  • Possess extensive knowledge of long day care operations, including EYLF, National Quality Standard, assessment and rating procedures, budgeting, recruitment, marketing, and customer service 
  • A resilient self-starter, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change with a forward-thinking mindset
  • 2+ years experience as an Area Manager in Early Education
  • Possess strong leadership values of trust, honesty and promote a positive culture within your team
  • Passionate about driving exceeding quality practice and the commercial viability of the service
  • Hold a valid WWCC or willing to obtain
