You’ll work closely with the Executive Service Manager to ensure the smooth running of the centre, from compliance and safety, to people support and family engagement.
- Role model high-quality educational practice and active supervision.
- Ensure environments are safe, clean, and aesthetically aligned to our Nido philosophy.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance processes.
- Maintain accurate records for staff and children, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Act as WHS representative, supporting safety checks, drills, and risk management.
- Provide operational coverage when the Executive Service Manager is absent.
- Lead by example in demonstrating consistency, respect, intentionality, collaboration and speaking up
We’re looking for a leader who balances operational precision with a caring, supportive presence. Someone who sees the details, while never losing sight of the bigger picture — safe, joyful, and high-quality early learning.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent).
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Lead Educator.
- Knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and the National Quality Framework.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting teams and maintaining compliance systems.
- WWCC and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
