ABOUT YOU:
  • Contribute to exceeding outcomes for children and educators
  • Have great time management and love keeping a kitchen in premium condition
  • Are a voice for all children
  • Driven to provide outstanding nutrition and education to young children
  • Have experience in cooking for a large amount of children at any one time
  • Comply with all relevant legislation, early childhood regulations, policies, procedures, and work guidelines 
  • Strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Conduct weekly stock take and ordering 
  • Maintain and ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene such as cleaning and washing
  • A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (required)
  • Cert II / III in Commercial Cooking, highly regarded, however not required
  • Cooking experience in an early childhood setting, highly regarded
