Meet the team at Redwood Park
Our close-knit leadership team at Redwood Park foster a warm, inclusive, and respectful environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging. We believe in the saying “it takes a village to raise a child.” At our service, we see our children, families and educators as one connected village, supporting, learning from and growing alongside one another. This strong sense of community allows us to build meaningful relationships that form the foundation for every child’s learning journey.
Our educators’ varied cultural backgrounds enrich our curriculum and philosophy, introducing children to different traditions and celebrations from around the world.
Why families choose Nido Redwood Park
Every Day Matters at Nido Redwood Park
At Nido Redwood Park, we recognise that our values and identity as individuals drive the way we teach and support children’s learning as Educators. We recognise that our families and the community play a pivotal part in our children’s journey through early education and care.
As a team we
- Respect each child as an individual.
- Support children in building their confidence, their culture and journey in becoming creative successful learners; and what that looks like to them.
- Continuously improve our knowledge to best represent Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and children who enter our service.
- Scaffold upon each child’s learning need, guided by their own developing skills and interest.
- Create a sense of belonging for children and families. Respecting their individuality, culture, values and beliefs.
- See the environment as the third teacher, setting up our classrooms to encourage engagement and exploration.
- A child is viewed as a unique, competent individual who is an active participant in their own learning and development.

Child-led Learning
- Engaging learning programs are child-led, inspired by the Reggio-Emilia philosophy and facilitated by a dedicated Curriculum Leader.
- Our teams are made up of passionate, sector leading degree qualified teachers, with all Educators diploma-qualified or holding a Cert III.
- Our unique curriculum is co-designed with families, experts and educators and builds upon the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to balance literacy, numeracy, creativity, health and confidence.
- Key Word Sign is an important part of our curriculum intentions, supporting children’s communication by introducing simple signs to enhance non-verbal expression and understanding.
- Throughout each classroom’s curriculum, we collaborate with families and follow the children’s interests to ensure our program explores all key learning areas. We integrate each child’s strengths, interests, and learning goals into engaging and enjoyable experiences
- We are pen pals with Nido Golden Grove North enhancing communication skills and building friendships.
Nature walks and library visits to Tea Tree Gully
Excursions in the local Redwood Park community and incursions at our early school bring extra excitement and foster children’s interests.
We have a strong connection with our surrounding community, offering children opportunities to become global citizens by exploring their wider world.
Through our partnership with the Tea Tree Gully Council, we enjoy fortnightly nature walks that encourage children to connect with and care for their local environment.
Children love Happy Feet on Thursdays, visiting the local TTG Library and nature walks to the the Yarning Circle.
Safety Every Day
At Nido, safety is part of every day. We follow national child-safe standards with strong leadership, rigorous recruitment, and ongoing training for everyone in our early schools. Our spaces are designed for clear supervision, and our policies are regularly reviewed to maintain the highest standards. Nothing matters more than creating safe and secure environments where children feel confident, and families place their full trust in our care.
Our Community
Our deep commitment to community involvement allows children to explore and engage with the world around them through meaningful experiences, such as local partnerships, events, and nature walks.
These connections help children develop a strong sense of belonging and identity within their wider community.
We are also proud of the rich cultural diversity within our team, which we weave into our daily practices and curriculum. Our educators and families share their traditions, languages, stories, and celebrations, offering children a global perspective and fostering respect, inclusion, and curiosity.

Changes to the Child Care Subsidy
The 3 Day Guarantee. What does it mean for your family enrolling in 2026?From 5 January 2026, the Australian Government is updating the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to guarantee at least 3 days of subsidised early childhood education and care per week. This means that all CCS-eligible families will receive at least 72 hours per fortnight (3 days/week) of subsidised childcare regardless of their work, study, or volunteering status.
Since Nido Early School is a government approved childcare provider, if you are eligible for CCS you will be entitled to the new 3 Day Child Care Subsidy Guarantee on your fees.
