|VIC||As of 11:59pm on Thursday 9 September, restrictions have now lifted in regional Victoria (except for Geelong, the Surf Coast and Mitchell Shire who all entered a 7 day lockdown at 11.59pm on Sunday 19 September). As of 11.59pm on Wednesday 22 September, Ballarat ended it’s 7 day lockdown.
Victorians who have been residing in a NSW Local Government Border Area for at least the 14 days from Wednesday, 25 August to Wednesday 8 September 2021, will be able to apply for a new permit exemption category to come home. Metropolitan Melbourne however still remains with stay at home orders until 70% of the population over 16 years of age has received two doses of the vaccine, predicted to be by 26 October.
